Dry Needling

Targeted Dry Needling for Muscle Pain. Release trigger points, reduce pain, and improve mobility with this effective treatment.

Dry needling involves inserting a thin, filament needle into specific muscular trigger points (knots) that are causing pain and restricting movement. This is not acupuncture, which is based on traditional Chinese medicine; dry needling is grounded in modern Western anatomy and neurophysiology. The needle helps to deactivate the trigger point, which reduces pain, decreases muscle tension, and increases blood flow. We commonly use dry needling for conditions like headaches, migraines, TMJ, and low back pain. It is highly effective at breaking the pain-spasm-pain cycle, making it an excellent adjunct to chiropractic adjustments and rehab exercises.

Ask our chiropractors if dry needling is right for your muscle pain.
