At Redbird Wellness, we’re on a mission to help you live your best, happiest, and healthiest life. Based in Hopkins, MN, we’re proud to be your one-stop shop for mental health counseling and chiropractic care in the Twin Cities metro. Whether you’re coming to us with chronic pain, overwhelming stress, or just the desire to feel better, we’ve got you covered—mind, body, and soul.
Our story started in 2018 when Shawn Halliday was in chiropractic school, and the idea was born: what if we combined chiropractic care with mental health counseling to create a truly holistic approach? Fast forward to 2021, Brooke Halliday started Redbird Counseling with a passion for helping people heal from trauma and mental health struggles. Together, in 2025, we officially launched Redbird Wellness, blending our expertise to bring you holistic care that transforms lives.
Our Approach
At Redbird Wellness, we believe in empowering you to take control of your health. From reducing physical pain to overcoming mental health challenges, we aim to help you feel better so you can get back to doing the things you love. Whether it’s chiropractic care to relieve back pain or mental health counseling to manage anxiety and trauma, our approach is simple: we focus on you as a whole person.
We know making the decision to seek care isn’t always easy. Maybe you’ve tried other options, like physical therapy or medication, but nothing seemed to work long-term. We’re here to offer you personalized care. Care that’s about finding the root cause and delivering results that last. Our clients often say, “I didn’t think I could feel this good again,” and we’re honored to play a part in that journey.
It's important for our current and perspective clients to know that we are LGBTQIA+ affirming practitioners. Although we are a heterosexual, able-bodied, white couple we do our best to make our space is welcoming for all. We acknowledge our privilege and do our best to provide a safe space for all to heal.
Meet The Team
Redbird Wellness is led by Brooke and Shawn Halliday, two passionate professionals dedicated to helping you achieve physical and mental well-being.
Brooke Halliday
Brooke is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) and specializes in working with Millennial and Gen Z women dealing with anxiety, depression, and trauma. She’s an EMDRIA certified EMDR therapist with ten years of experience in helping people heal from trauma.
Brooke Halliday received EMDRIA approved training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy and is a Certified EMDR Therapist. She heavily pulls from EMDR therapy when conceptualizing cases. That being said, she also pulls from other well researched models such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Bowenian Therapy and other systemic approaches. There is no "right" approach to therapy, only what works best for each person.
In addition to her clinical work, Brooke is an approved supervisor through the Minnesota Board of Behavioral Health and Therapy (BBHT), providing clinical supervision to pre-licensed professionals working toward LPC or LPCC licensure in Minnesota. She also holds a South Carolina telehealth license through the South Carolina Department of Labor, Licensing and Regulation, allowing her to provide virtual therapy to clients located in South Carolina.

Shawn Halliday
Before becoming a chiropractor, Shawn served four years in the United States Marine Corps. As a Marine Corps veteran, he brings a unique background and perspective to his work helping people move better, feel stronger, and get back to the activities they enjoy.
Shawn has been helping people relieve pain, improve mobility, and get stronger since his chiropractic school days. As an evidence based chiropractor, Shawn focuses on multifaceted treatment approaches. Not exclusively spinal manipulations, he also incorporates dry needling, myofascial release technique, spinal decompression, and therapeutic exercise.
Shawn offers help for a wide range of conditions beyond low back pain, including shoulder tendinopathy, plantar fasciitis, knee pain, carpal tunnel syndrome, tennis elbow, and TMJ disorder. Unlike cookie-cutter treatment plans, we have more options at our disposal, ensuring that each treatment is unique to each individual who comes in.
